新西兰留学必知——毕业生工作签证政策解析
很多计划来新西兰留学的学生,希望在完成学业后在新西兰寻找工作和移民机会,因此新西兰毕业生工签就对这些学生尤为重要。新西兰毕业生工作签政策在今年5月进行了更新,工签政策较此前有所收紧。目前新西兰政府鼓励学生来新西兰就读更高等级的教育(本科及以上学位课程),并取消了二次工签。

新西兰毕业生工作签证概述:(适用于2022年5月11日后申请新西兰留学的学生)
- 学习7级本科学士学位及以上等级课程的学生,可在毕业后申请新西兰毕业生工签,工签期间不限雇主和工作种类限制。
- 学习7级或以下非学位课程的学生,课程在新西兰毕业生工签资格清单上才有资格申请毕业生工签,且从事的工作必须为指定的工作,但无工作收入要求,中途可更换雇主。(职业主要包括建筑项目经理、建造师、中学及幼教教师、工程技师等。)
- 在新西兰毕业生工签资格清单上的7级及8级课程学生,以及9级硕士或10级博士学生,其配偶仍可以申请开放式工作签证,学龄子女可同本地学生一样享受免费中小学教育。
- 新西兰毕业生工签的时长最长为3年,并和学生在新西兰学习的课程等级和时长有关。如果是就读硕士学位和博士学位课程学生,将继续可以申请三年毕业生工作签证。就读8级或以下等级课程的学生,工签时长和课程时间一致(以学校offer时长为准。因不及格或其他原因导致学习时间比offer规定的时间长,并不会延长PSW时长。)。
- 不能二次申请新西兰毕业生工作签证。
- 如果在完成了本科学位后连续就读其他毕业后学位课程,则可申请更长的PSW工签,但PSW工作签证最长仍为3年。

虽然新西兰毕业生工签政策有所收紧,但对于有一定学习和经济能力的学生来说,来新西兰留学仍不失为一个高性价比的留学选择。鉴于目前新西兰取消了二次工签,所以这里也建议同学们根据自身情况,在完成最高等级学业后,再去申请新西兰毕业生工签,以保障拿到最长时长的工签,在新西兰当地累积更多工作经验,最大化新西兰移民可能(举例来说,技术类Diploma学生,推荐升读本科,毕业后去申请本科offer时长的PSW;GD或PGD学生,推荐继续升读硕士,毕业后去申请3年PSW)。
